1. Open the default Camera app on your iPhone or Android phone.
2. Point it steadily at the QR code so the whole square is inside the viewfinder.
3. Tap the notification or banner that appears at the top of the screen to open the link, connect to Wi-Fi, or save the contact.
4. On older phones without built-in scanning, install a free QR scanner from your app store and repeat the same steps.
